Frequently Asked Questions

Does Rippling Waters Men’s Retreat treat Addiction including Drug and Alcohol?

RWMR Behavior-Focused Protocols are carefully designed to seek out, identify, and replace dysfunctional habitual responses with reasonable, mindful solutions. Our Counselors examine the trauma and beliefs that lead to addiction. We examine their responses to these triggers, and then teach recovering addicts how to respond to these triggers in a positive and productive way, without the dangers of relapsing into addiction and abuse. We are not a drug or alcohol rehabilitation center. Instead, RWMR works to address the complexes and issues that may lead to all addictive beliefs and behaviors for men including anger, guilt, shame, pornography, lying, or unhealthy compulsions and knee jerk reactions to situations that end up with Overdose.

True recovery is achievable through a committed and engaged approach to the treatment process. This dedication allows individuals to recognize and overcome harmful behaviors that have caused pain to themselves and others. With active participation in therapy and classes, our program fosters a transformative journey towards and personal transformation and recovery from limiting beliefs.

Our Admissions Team will be your main point of contact throughout the registration process. They are here to assist you in any way possible, ensuring that you feel comfortable and informed in your decision to join our program. To create the most effective transformation plan for you or your loved one, our team will typically need the following information during your confidential initial and follow-up calls:

  • Basic background information, including personal history.
  • Comprehensive health history, including any prior treatments.
  • An understanding, as you know it, of your areas of need.
  • Urgency of the treatment required and discussion of logistical needs.

Once the Initial Assessment process is complete and we have determined the appropriate treatment plan, your Admissions Counselor will send you the necessary Acceptance Forms for your signature. They will also be available to coordinate with employers, educational institutions, healthcare providers, attorneys, or legal entities as needed. Our aim is to support you fully throughout the recovery process. We strive to make the admissions process and travel to our residential facility as clear and straightforward as possible for you or your loved one.
